Welcome to the holiday region Passeier Valley, where north and south melt together and palm trees and glaciers meet. Luscious fields, flowering meadows, crystal clear streams, quiet woods, innumerable mountain peaks, mountain goats, marmots, alpine roses, gentian, edelweiss and 400 km of footpaths, all this is what makes the Passeier Valley the place it is. The small holiday village Saltaus with its 300 inhabitants lies at the foot of the Texelgruppe Nature Park, 500 meters above sea level.
